Coriander rice is one of my go-to dishes when I don’t feel like making an elaborate meal. It comes together in just 15 mins with leftover rice and tastes really delicious.
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp roasted chana dal
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 green chilies
- 2 red chillies
- small ball of tamarind
- bunch of coriander leaves with stems
- 1 tbsp ghee
- mustard seeds
- 1 or 2 broken red chillies
- few curry leaves
- peanuts (as preferred)
- salt
- cooked rice
