¿Qué es lo que deseas en esta vida para tus hijos?
● ¿Mucho trabajo?
● ¿Que terminen una carrera profesional?
● ¿Que se casen?
● ¿Éxitos? ¿Salud?
● ¿Por qué deseas eso o aquello para tus hijos?
Quizá
reto. Todos imitamos lo que vemos en nuestros padres, así aprende nuestra mente, emulando; ya sean patrones de conducta, formas de hablar, actitudes e incluso emociones, “hijo de tigre, pintito”. Dentro de todo, también imitamos la manera de ver y vivir la vida.
Si los pequeños y no tan pequeños, ven a sus padres gozar, reír, estar contentos, pacientes, amorosos y tranquilos, su mente en crecimiento considerará que el mundo es un lugar para estar felices. Pero, ¿qué ocurre si ven a los padres estresados todo el tiempo, cansados, tristes, malhumorados?, pensarán que el mundo requiere seres descontentos y ¡eso harán! Por mucho que les des un sermón de los buenos y felices que deben ser, lo más importante es lo que te ven hacer. “Padres felices, hijos felices”... Aunque la frase nos parece lógica y simple, muchas veces en la historia del ser humano, en la simpleza y el sentido común, encontramos las piezas perfectas para armarnos un complejo rompecabezas.
Cuando la familia crece, además de ver por la felicidad de uno, tienes que hacerlo por la de varios; llegará un momento en el que podrías perder perspectiva de lo que tú sientes, quieres, piensas o vives. La felicidad se puede definir con un concepto fisiológico como la producción de endorfinas que

Si puedes responder estas preguntas con menos de dos palabras para cada una, probablemente te conoces lo suficiente para pensar, sentir y actuar hacia tu propia felicidad, pero ¿cómo afecta mi felicidad o infelicidad a la de mi familia? ¡En el momento que el equilibrio de sí mismo se rompe, lo demás pronto comenzará a colapsar! Si no disfrutas de ti, de tu día a día, tus amigos, tu trabajo, tu cuerpo, menos lo harás con el puré de patatas que tu hijo tiró en la cena, o con tu pareja que necesita ayuda para poner orden en casa.
Por desgracia, las exigencias externas son buen pretexto, pero no la excusa para limitar nuestra búsqueda de felicidad. Tu equilibrio, depende de ti. Esa es una de las ventajas de ser adulto: tener el poder para decidir qué sentir frente al mundo a cada momento
