Nabeel Qureshi (April 13, 1983 – September 16, 2017) was a Pakistani-American Christian apologist, author, speaker, and convert from the Ahmadiyya movement of Islam. Ahmadi Muslims worldwide are estimated to be around 10-20 million. The Ahmadiyya’s beliefs are more closely related to those of the Sunni Muslims than the Shi’a Muslims. The Ahmadis are guided by the Five Pillars of Islam and believe in the 6 Articles of Faith. They also accept the Quran as their holy book and pray five times a day while facing the Kaaba. Ahmadis practice Sunnah and accept the Authority of the Hadiths. However, their distinguishing characteristic is their belief in Mizra as the Promised Messiah and redeemer as was promised by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. Mizra’s aim was to propagate Islam throughout the world through peaceful means and to revive the forgotten Islamic values such as peace, sympathy, and forgiveness.

The 34-year-old Nabeel was an itinerant speaker with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM).

In his book "Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus" Nabeel Qureshi describes his dramatic journey from Islam to Christianity. Nabee lbecame convinced of the truth of the Gospel through historical reasoning and a search for God. He was a speaker with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, held an MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School, an MA in Christian apologetics from Biola University, and an MA in religion from Duke University.
