A Grateful Husband’s Prayer
Man:
Dear Lord... (he closes his eyes, a soft smile on his face)
I come before You with a heart full of gratitude. You, the Creator of all things good and perfect, have blessed me beyond measure.
Thank You... for the love of my life, my wife. You gave her beauty, kindness, and strength, but Lord, You didn’t stop there. Oh no, You sprinkled a little extra on her—a heavenly fragrance that fills every room she walks into.
She smells like roses in spring, like warm vanilla on a winter evening, like a freshly baked pie straight out of paradise. Even on her worst days, Lord, she smells like hope.
I don’t know what recipe You used, but Lord, You nailed it. You gave her a scent so sweet it makes me forget my worries. It's not just perfume, Lord—it’s her essence.
So thank You, Father. Thank You for her heart, her soul, and, yes, for making her smell so good. Please keep blessing her, and maybe... (pauses playfully) give me a little of that magic too?
