An introduction to Arduino-type microcontrollers and how you can start to use it in your music and sound projects.
Microcontrollers are one-chip computers, that can be programmed for a variety of inputs and outputs. Since they're customizable and compact, we can use them for a variety of musical applications.
I have some experience making sensor interfaces with Arduinos for music instruments and circuit-bent game systems, but, in this video, I try out using an Arduino as an oscillator, generating its own sound. This is inspired by the chapter by Joseph Kramer in the new edition of Nicholas Collins "Handmade Electronic Music" ([ Ссылка ]).
