The next step in the AI revolution is retraining the workforce and educating the next generation. Companies receiving hundreds of millions of dollars in technology grants and billions of dollars in profits instead of laying off thousands of employees, should invest in retraining them in artificial intelligence, computer simulation, 3D printing, and brain neurons. As AI automation and no-code Generative AI, advances are moving forward at a pace of change unheard in the history of humanity companies and governments need to adapt their strategies.
In the past, we have used metaphors and similes to explain new and complex ideas. From Plato’s Allegory of the Cave illustrates the path to understanding the nature of reality, to Newton’s Clockwork Universe to know that the universe operates predictably according to laws of physics, to the term computer virus to describe malicious software that spreads from one computer to another, we need to find a way to explain that the pace of technological advancements is something new. CEOs live on a quarter-to-quarter lifespan, limiting their vision to today’s stock market valuation. What about when the pace of innovation outpaces the quarterly stock market valuation? We need a new strategic vision model that considers an uncertain innovation future.
How do we explain that Intel has received hundreds of millions in CHIPS Act monies, but is laying off thousands of employees, or that CISCO has record profits in the billions of dollars but is laying off thousands of employees? Blaming artificial intelligence for those decisions is an easy cop-out, rather than addressing the main issue: a lack of coherent corporate strategic vision for the future.
This is when a strategic model needs to be designed that takes into account past corporate and legacy data, AI, computer simulation, 3D printing, and brain neurons come into play. The Corporate Strategic Realignment Model (CSRM) integrates past corporate and legacy data, AI, computer simulation, 3D printing, and brain neuron-inspired algorithms to determine corporate realignment to goals within a 3-month timeframe.
