Stuart Agnew MEP has been shortlisted to be one of UKIP's candidates for the European Election in 2014. His name will be on the list put to its members in a ballot in September 2013. It will be UKIP members who will decide the eventual order in which our candidates are put to the electorate.
Stuart, who was elected in 2009, has been a tireless MEP for UKIP, having spoken at countless branch meetings, pursuing a policy of never saying No to any requests to speak at UKIP functions. From the outset, he has put his hand in his pocket for the Party, donating thousands of pounds to our campaign funds both nationally and regionally. He has made it a point of principle to turn out and campaign in every one of the Parliamentary by-elections held in recent years, often taking coachloads of people with him. Not even a broken leg could keep him out of the action!
He hasn't restricted it to Parliamentary by-elections either, making many appearances in support of county and local election candidates.
