Some Protestants accept the title "Mary as Mother of God" as a title to affirm the christological truth of incarnation. Others reject it altogether, citing the doctrinal expansions that emerged from such a title. Here are the seven reasons that are presented from protestants in general.
As protestants, it is important to think of Mary as God's chosen instrument to bring forth the incarnate Savior. However, that doesn't lead us to the ponit of venerating and worshipping her as coredeemer and mediator.
