Here is short aerial video of Pen-yr-Orsedd Quarry, North Wales.

Pen-yr-Orsedd Quarry was a slate quarry in North Wales operating from 1862 to 1979. The quarry is located in the Nantlle valley next to another quarry, Dorothea. Mills were built on three successive levels in the quarry. After closing in 1979, the quarry has fallen into disrepair as you can see in the video. In this video you can see most of the quarry, including the pits and aerial ropeways (Blondins) that lifted the slate up to the mills for processing.
