Should we translate πορεύομαι as "I go for myself" since it appears in the middle voice? The answer is no, and in this video I'l explain why and introduce the middle voice a little more, explain how it is different to the passive voice and active voice and give you examples of the Greek Middle voice at work. We'll also talk about why deponent verbs should not be regarded as active.
