What Caused Deadly Mumbai Bus Accident?
A crowded BEST Bus on route 332 travelling between Kurla and Andheri lost control near the White House building next to L ward office. The fast-moving bus struck multiple vehicles and people walking on the street before finally crashing into the entrance of Ambedkar Nagar at around 9:30 pm on Monday. The collision involved five to six autorickshaws, 10 motorcycles, and approximately 10 pedestrians. Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with screams echoing as the bus came to a sudden halt
Emergency responders rushed to the scene, transporting the injured to nearby hospitals, where several are still undergoing treatment.
Authorities have since detained the bus driver, who claims a brake failure was the cause of the accident. Investigators are now examining whether negligence, poor maintenance, or technical faults led to this unfortunate tragedy
This mishap has sparked a renewed debate about the safety standards of public transportation in India. citizens are demanding stricter regulations and better maintenance of the city’s fleet.”
