If you were buying the first 10 games of your board game collection, would you do better at Walmart or Chapters? Both stores have limited selection and questionable stock. Today, I’m going to build two starter collections comparing the quality of games, how much choice each store offers, and where you get your best price.
The challenge here, will be to choose 10 board games as the foundation of a collection. I’m limited by what was on the shelf when I visited each store. And make no mistake, this is much harder to do than it looks. Both stores have major limitations - for Chapters it’s their selection and for Walmart it’s the quality of games.
