Back in the summer of 2022 in my group shared Socata Rallye 150SV, On take off the nose wheel completely fell off the plane, I had the circle the airfield for around 2 hours to waited the emergency crews to arrive in force, Thank fully I did not need them, This little video clip is of my final approach without the nose wheel to attempt a landing, full stick back nose up for as long as I could, I was very proud of my landing with no nose wheel, we got down all safe and sound with minimal damage to the plane, the nose wheel strut was damaged and needed replacing and the wheel axle too that's what snapped due to metal fatigue.
