US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin says 'America will, if we must, defend every inch of NATO territory' and Russia isn't sending troops 'for no reason.'

NATO has met in Brussels to discuss multiple diplomatic measures that can be taken to prevent Russia from invading Ukraine.

Russia claims to be withdrawing troops from the border with Ukraine but NATO have said they have seen no such evidence.
