The Ultimate Support MC-125 studio mic stand is the perfect mic stand for when you need to attach a heavy microphone or just need a little added reach over a drum kit. I probably should have bought a few of these years ago but never wanted to make the investment. The MC-125 would have came in handy when micing all those drum kits instead of using the DR Boom stands I was using at the time. Not to say that the DR didn't get the job done but the MC-125 allows for a much more flexible mic placement and is very easy to setup and adjust on the fly.
