We went online in November 2024 for this Q&A with Peter Nickoloff from Nova Systems. Nickoloff is the Executive Director and Co-founder of Nova Systems, Industry Director of the SmartSat Cooperative Research Centre and Executive Director of the Andy Thomas Space Foundation, he is a strong advocate for growing the space industry in Australia. He is a member of the South Australian Space Advisory Council and supported numerous government and industry initiatives to build the sector. Pete’s role at the SmartSatCRC includes the Mission Director for South Australia’s Kanyini satellite. He obtained an Aeronautical Engineer degree from RMIT in 1986 and has 35 years’ experience supporting Defence and Space projects including operations at Woomera and Test & Evaluation for F/A-18 and related weapon systems.
