In this video, we show you how to clean the metal doctor blades of Samsung Laser Toner Cartridges.

Cleaning of the metal doctor blades would prevent vertical bands of light and dark printouts. This is useful for HP Colour and Samsung Laser Toner Cartridges.

Remove the Doctor Blade from the Toner Cartridge.

Pour some Auro Imaging Solutions Doctor Blade Cleaner on to a soft cloth. Apply the Solution on the edge of the doctor blade.
In case of hard toner powder depositions on the edge of the doctor blade, the cleaning solution should be applied on the doctor blade and kept for a minute or two.

Once the solution is applied, rub the edge of the blade with the cloth. Make sure that the edges of the blade do not bend. You will be required to rub for sometime, till the edges are free of all the toner depositions.

The doctor blade should be tilted up and down and the edges checked. The edges of the blade should be shining and free of all the toner depositions by now.

This process could be repeated for hard depositions.
