This video explains how the APMC Act which was once created to help stop the exploitation of farmers ended up doing the very same with them. We then highlight the entire APMC procedure through which the farmer used to sell & get exploited at the hands of Arhartiyas, Commission Agents & Traders. We also put a light on why Punjab govt. is protesting against the bills, namely due to cut in tax collection and end of middlemen culture. In the end, we explain how the Farm Bills 2020 will empower farmers in India.
