Did you know an un-spayed female cat can start having kittens at only 6 months old? And she can have several litters per year! That's a lot of kittens in need of a home! With shelters over-full in so much of the country, stopping cat overpopulation is key - and the practice of T.N.R, or Trap-Neuter-Release (or Trap Neuter Return) stops this problem right at the source.
I've been involved in cat rescue for years, and I want to share some of what I've learned with all of you! In this video I'll talk about what a community cat is, how TNR works, and how you can get involved - even if you don't have the time or resources to do any trapping yourself. The more the public is educated about TNR, the fewer cats will end up homeless, and hopefully some day NO cats will be euthanized just to make room in local shelters.
