Aave and Lido surpass $70 billion in net deposits

In December 2024, DeFi applications Aave and Lido surpassed $70 billion in net deposits for the first time, making them the largest in total value locked and among the top protocols in revenue generation. As of press time, they hold a combined $67.42 billion, with Aave leading at $34.3 billion and Lido close behind at $33.8 billion in TVL.
