Hello folks!
So today for tea I made some seriously tasty Mac ’n’ cheese in the slow cooker :) I’ve been asked for more slow cooker recipes, and I know that so many of you are big fans of macaroni cheese…and by using the slow cooker, it helps to keep the energy costs down :) It’s also absolutely delicious…very rich, so you wouldn’t need much of it :D Perfect on it’s own, on a jacket potato..or even with a few chips of slice of garlic bread!
Everything I used is listed below.

What I used - 2.5 litre Crockpot - Makes enough for 4-5 people.
500g (16 oz) Macaroni or elbow pasta
250g (3 cups) Grated cheese of your choice - I used Red Leicester
250g (8 oz) Cream cheese - I used Philadelphia
800ml (3.4 cups) Whole milk
375ml (12 oz) Evaporated Milk
A couple of knobs of butter - Around 2 Tablespoons
2 Teaspoons English mustard - optional
**Optional handful of chopped parsley (again, mainly for the colour)**
