Development work in J&K has intensified since abrogation of Article 370
Health & Education infrastructure has received a remarkable push

Construction work of premier institutions like IITs, IIMs and AIIMS is ongoing
Besides 2 AIIMS, the UT will have seven new medical colleges
Existing medical facilities are now equipped with robust infrastructure
Health cover to all through Jammu and Kashmir Health Scheme is already underway
Rs 5 Lac each has been earmarked for 15 lakh families
To ensure transparency in the system and deliver service seamlessly
78,000 patients treated in empanelled hospitals under PM-JAY
The government has also laid special stress to improve quality of education
100 new schools are to be constructed in far-flung areas
50 schools were rolled out during current academic session
Special arrangements being made to enhance girls’ education (7 hostels under construction)
3 J&K universities now feature in country’s top 100
Sustained work under SAMAGRA Siksha abhiyaan….
….to improve primary, secondary education too has yielded

Special focus to help marginalized people, unemployed youth, women and girl child

Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana ensures nutrition to women (149,515 beneficiaries)
