In this video I will tell you about the grapes, which became the discovery of the year for me and the best grapes with muscat taste.
And also, I will tell you about the harvest and characteristics of Bogema grapes.
Text version of the material:
Today I will tell you about the harvest and features of the hybrid form of Bogema grapes!
This hybrid form was brought out by the breeder Zagorulko Vitaly Vladimirovich.
The harvest that you can see in the video is the first harvest and was obtained by grafting a grape called Liya.
This video was filmed at the end of August
By itself, I don’t really like Liya grapes, as they burst, especially after heavy rains.
And if it rains for a long time, the berries begin to rot, so I decided to regraft it.
I would also like to add that I have a sad experience of growing Kishmish Veles grapes, which, like Liya, cracks very much after rains.
To a greater extent, this is due to the fact that we have very rich black soil.
At the moment, Bogema grapes are among the top five in terms of taste.
Along with the perfect taste, this grape is incredibly beautiful.
The taste of this grape is very difficult to describe, it is not just a good nutmeg taste, but it is a nutmeg taste of a new order!
The taste of Bogema grapes combines the taste of rose flowers and the taste of caramel.
I would also like to note the fact that, unlike other hybrid forms of Zagorulko, this grape does not crack for me.
And this must be taken into account the fact that about one hundred and eighty millimeters of rain fell in my vineyard in a week and at the same time the berry remained intact.
The sugar in the berry was washed away, and it became smaller, but with all this, a very noble nutmeg taste remained.
The sugar level after heavy rains is seventeen Brix.
I cut and tasted one berry especially for you and I can say that it is dense and crispy in texture and at the same time it is very juicy.
The grape seed inside the berry has a green color, and this tells us that this grape has not yet reached its technical maturity.
The average weight of one berry is about ten grams.
This berry size is a very normal size for table grapes.
Based on all the above characteristics of this grape, I can definitely recommend it to you for growing in your backyard.
I repeat once again - the nutmeg taste of this grape is great!
