The SADC extraordinary troika summit has kicked off in Zimbabwe, Harare.
It is focusing on peace and security in the regional bloc especially in the Eastern DRC where the regional mission has been deployed to deal with instability.
SADC leaders have also looked at the recent elections in Botswana, Mozambique and Mauritius.
Recently, Mozambique has seen a wave of protests due to the disputed election results.
Meanwhile, SADC executive secretary Elias Magosi says it's been a busy period for the region.
