Let me introduce you Turkish Dracula a.k.a. "Dracula In Istanbul" movie!

For the first time in the history of the world, we are faced with the film where the sharp dog teeth of Dracula appear. Master actor Atof Kaplan, who appeared in the role of Dracula, with his sharp canine teeth and impressive acting, he manages to his place in the cinema history. Dracula in Istanbul... A lament burned in the night. It’s like an old and foreign myth that infiltrates the spirit of Istanbul.

The film also contains many “cult” moments. Altough Dracula is the first movie to be visualized while walking on the wall. It’s the production that shows the relationship with Vlas Tepes most clearly on the screen.

Dracula in Istanbul, was an important step for Turkish Cinema, which can exist in the world cinematic arena within the framework of the horror genre in the coming years. Much earlier than this movie, the movie named “Scream” which met the audience in 1949, unfortunately no copies of the movie have survived. This movie prepared a solid ground for the species to stand up on but until 1970, the zombie movie named The Dead Doesn’t Speak. Unfortunately efficient and effective horror film could not be produced in Turkey. After a 30-year droughy prevailing in the horror genre will be furious in 2000’s. Until the formation pf a Turkish Horror Movie colture that will be invaded by the gins. Today, “horror film pattern” in Turkey, even though it means jin movies until a Turkish Horror Movie culture is formed. However, it is not possible to deny the existence of bold and devoted productions like Dracula in Istanbul.
