Residents in eastern Spain described seeing people clambering onto the roofs of their cars as a churning tide of brown water gushed through the streets, uprooting trees and dragging chunks of masonry from buildings. Before and after satellite images from NASA give an ominous perspective of the floods that have caused the death of over 200 people.
