On 02.03.2023 I was in Firgas at the beautiful fountain promenade. It was a beautiful day with pleasant 23°C and slightly cloudy.
Firgas is a Canary municipality on the island of Gran Canaria with about 7455 inhabitants, with 15.33 Km² is it the smallest municipality of the island and lies west of Las Palmas
My little tour started at the traffic circle Frog Fountain from the direction of the GC-305 to the GC-30 where it went up to the end of Paseo de Canarias. All the islands of the Canary Islands are beautifully depicted on the ground, at the height of the small store Tienda de Pepe Julio I turned around and went down to the cross street Av. De la Constitucion, I went left a bit along, here you have a great view of the church Iglesia de San Roque from the street, who is interested in churches should risk a look in this church.
A little further comes right a small staircase here you get to the forecourt of the church, left past the church you get to a viewpoint Mirador Plaza de San Roque, here you have a wonderful view of the North Atlantic Ocean. My little photo walk went over the square of the church and past the fountain down again to the traffic circle.
Small info at the traffic circle Frog Fountain go left and right stairs to the church High, there are between the stairs public toilets, which were in a clean and excellent condition.
Firgas is worth a visit.
I took it with the Insta 360 X3.
Write me in the comments how you find my little walk and if you've been there before, or when you might plan to visit this great little community.
Glad about every like, comment and about a subscription
Love greetings
