The disturbance now known as Invest 92L as a high chance to become a tropical depression next week. There are indications that this will become a tropical storm and possibly a hurricane.

If the storm gets strong fast, it will have a tendency to cure away from the Caribbean Islands. If the storm stays weaker for longer, there is a higher chance that the storm will impact the Caribbean.

Another storm moving off the Atlantic coast could also develop tropical characteristics as it moves away from the United States. The two disturbances will be competing for the name Bret.

The storm in the tropical Atlantic is very rare as less than a handful of storms have developed here in June in history.
