SILK, which stands for Smooth Incision Lenticule Keratomileusis, is the latest technology introduced by Johnson & Johnson. It operates similarly to Zeiss' SMILE procedure, where a laser creates a small disc-shaped lens, known as a lenticule, within the cornea.
