Porto Ceresio is a comune on Lake Lugano in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres northwest of Milan and about 11 km northeast of Varese, on the border with Switzerland. It has a population of 3,080 and was made famous as an internationally renowned center of craftsmanship and art. The Comune is situated not far away from the Cinque Vette Park.
