As to do something different, I have decided to do a review on the old Lima Class 47 Diesel Locomotive in OO gauge. Its a basic model but it does capture the shape of the Class 47 very well. There is very basic detail on this model and the model does have the horrible Lima pancake motor as well, but its ideal for those on a tight budget or for those that are new to model railways. The model used in this video is a Class 47 numbered as 47306 and named as "The Sapper" in Railfreight Channel Tunnel style livery with the dark blue roof similar to the Class 92. Also compared to my older Lima Class 47's that I owned in my Childhood days back in the 1980's. This model has yellow painted brakediscs.
