On the eve of a sombre one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Southern Israel, all eyes are Lebanon and the ongoing atrocities in Gaza.
A new round of airstrikes hit Beirut suburbs on Sunday and in northern Gaza, dozens of people were killed in strikes on a mosque and a school in the besieged enclave.
One place that has been largely forgotten is the occupied West Bank, where Israeli settler violence against Palestinians has increased in the wake of the Oct. 7 attack.
Almost 700 people have been killed in the West Bank in the year since.
Jeff Semple reports from Jerusalem on the situation in the West Bank. He also speaks with the families of Canadians who were killed in the Hamas attack to find out how they are coping.
