Part 4 of project Mut - The undercarriage is stripped of it's rear end, steering and suspension. From there the entire bottom of the car is cleaned and prepped before a clear coat to preserve all of that factory red oxide and undercoating finish. The floor pans, trunk drops, frame rails, etc look fantastic and the patina underneath is preserved.
Project MUT is getting the rest of it's once over. This is the brief intro to one sad pony that shall see the streets again. Follow along the journey, here we go!
What have we gotten ourselves into at Mustang Connection! This 1967 Ford Mustang has been sitting in the California desert for decades and is currently a sight for sore eyes. We plan on stuffing this thing with some great new products mixed in with some good 'ol swap meet and Craigslist finds to bring this "Mut" back to life. Why project Mut you ask ? well the only 3 letters left on the passenger fender still read MU..T... so as you can see currently a MUT not quite a Mustang just yet.
We already have some great partners on board for one of our most ambitious builds in Mustang Connection history.
