In this section of the course, we’re going to talk about managing project budget. Managing budget is an optional responsibility for Project Manager. If you work in outsource companies, then managing a budget will be inevitable part of your responsibilities. In product companies, it depends. I remember when I worked in a product company I didn’t manage budget for out of the box setup of our application for the client while if we were to customize some features, then we had to make estimations and therefore manage budget during implementation of customisations.
