In this video, I will compare two powerful graphics cards: the Intel Arc A770 and the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. These GPUs are both designed for high-end gaming and VR experiences, but which one is faster and more efficient? I will test them in various benchmarks and games to find out.
The Arc A770 is Intel’s first discrete GPU for desktops, based on the Generation 12.7 architecture. It has 4096 stream processors, 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, and a boost clock of 2400 MHz. It supports PCIe 4.0 and has a TDP of 225 W.
The GTX 1080 Ti is Nvidia’s flagship GPU from the Pascal generation, released in 2017. It has 3584 CUDA cores, 11 GB of GDDR5X memory, and a boost clock of 1600 MHz. It supports PCIe 3.0 and has a TDP of 250 W.
According to Technical City1, the GTX 1080 Ti outperforms the Arc A770 by 85% in their combined benchmark results. The GTX 1080 Ti also has a higher market share and user rating than the Arc A770, according to UserBenchmark2. However, the Arc A770 is newer, cheaper, and more power-efficient than the GTX 1080 Ti.
