This video documents an improvised session featuring the 0-Ctrl (sequencer) and the 0-Coast (semi-modular synth) by MakeNoise. These two were designed to work together, and they synergize very well. This performance was in particular an opportunity for me to explore the capability of the 0-Ctrl, not just as a step sequencer, but also as a very expressive controller, with its eleven touch pads.

The performance was recorded live: the 0-Coast goes through a mixer with stereo reverb and delay send. The stereo mix is then sent through a compressor insert, and finally to a stereo recorder. Finally the recording was lightly mastered in Pro Tools.
