Established by Wayne Baquet, Sr., who learned the art of the restaurant trade from his father Eddie Baquet, Sr., founder of the legendary 7th Ward restaurant Eddie's, Lil' Dizzy's holds historical significance. Wayne Baquet, Sr. retired in November 2020, leaving Lil' Dizzy's Cafe as the only Baquet-owned restaurant still thriving. Now owned and operated by Wayne, Jr. and his wife Arkesha, Lil' Dizzy's continues to make the Creole-Soul tradition proud.
