There it is finally, after about two months of work or so! The video was originally supposed to be 4 minutes long but I sadly had to cut it VERY short. I clearly underestimated the time and effort it'd take and I had to work on other things at the same time.
For a bit more context: Clyde Vanilla is a french audio series published in 2017, created by Antoine Daniel and Wendöh. I've always really enjoyed listening to it, and secretely wanted to animate it but never had the courage to do so. As you can see, I finally decided to give it a shot! This time, the visuals look a bit different, as I wanted to imitate the style of the original illustrations, also done by a french artist, MyLydy. I made sure to mimick the style all the while simplifying it in order to make it easier for me to animate, and I honestly think I did an okay job with that! The animations themselves are what personally disappointed me, but I still hope you guys enjoy the final outcome!
I'm really glad I finally animated all those characters, this is my favorite audio series without a doubt and I had a lot of fun illustrating and animating all those shots! I hope it'll be a way to find out about the series for some people who might enjoy, and that the people who already knew the series beforehand appreciate it!
(Fyi, if you do plan on listening to this series, please keep in mind that it has VERY crude humor, it makes fun of literally everything you can imagine, even the worst subjects. It takes everything extremely lightely, so if you're easily offended, definitely take that into account.)
