10. SOUNDBITE: (Dari) General Mohammed Ayub Salangi, Kabul chief of police:
"About thirty minutes ago (1000 GMT) there was a suicide attack opposite Habibiya High School. The target was a vehicle belonging to the German Embassy. Fortunately, as far as we can tell, the embassy staff are all OK. Five people were wounded in this incident, two of whom have died."

STORYLINE:
An Afghan police chief said on Sunday that a suicide bomber on foot blew himself up near a German Embassy vehicle in Kabul, killing two Afghans.
Kabul police chief General Mohammad Ayub Salangi said no German diplomats were injured in the attack.
Salangi said two Afghan civilians died in the blast and three others were wounded.
The blast took place on Sunday near an American-built high school in Kabul.
