In astrophysics, Jupiter is actually the planet which causes the sun's wobble. In some ways, Jupiter is the cerebral tug that keeps the sun and all the planets together in a singular, unobtrusive orbit. It is often called the "liver of the galaxy" because its gravity causes asteroids and other large harmful bodies to be deflected back into space. Zeus reprents Jupiter in Greek mythology, the King of the galactic mount olympus.
Of course we know that Pluto, when it works properly, is like pulling down a pinball machine's ball trigger shaft: it is painful to pull it down, but the farther down it goes, the faster and farther the ball goes up... eventually.
The main instinctive soulpath of anyone with Pluto aspecting Jupiter takes on a heavy, rigid dumbell on their way up the mountain. The whole energy field gets heavy with resistance to the green luck of the superconscious.
Pluto aspecting Jupiter can make a person magnify their conception of reality so that anything goes, anything is possible, anything is good or bad... And the path of evil is always paved with good intentions. The path of evil is also often paved with "inspirational intuition and faith," at the expense of reason. But Jupiter is no fool in the long run... when it is well placed.
After the smoke clears, Jupiter's vision is purified, the many "anything goes" paths dissolve into the wisdom of the wise "narrow interior within," embracing the challenge of one's own nature and marrying it (Jupiter and the D9 chart are the true arbiters of lasting, meaningful marriage) to something in the real world that makes sense, that works for everyone involved, and at the same time, is still designed very much to serve the individual.
Jupiter the master creator (karaka of the 2nd and 5th house) is brought out in painfully, deliciously self-oriented focus with pluto, where the self in one becomes the self in all, for all to see, and all to be inspired by. One finds a solid faith that cannot be dissolved by anything with this combination... For better or worse, depending on how it is placed and aspected!
Today we will be discussing themes and content from the book "Pluto: The Evolutionary Journey of the Soul vol 1," by Jeffrey Wolf Green. He is a classic pioneer in the metaphysics of the Outer Planets of Astrology, particularly in relation to their application towards dealing with karma and dharma constructively.
