All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi called Election Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2021 against ‘universal suffrage’. “It is against Puttaswamy's judgment. Government doesn't have legislative competence to make such laws. Aadhaar has 1.5 per cent more mistakes than the voter list. This law is against universal suffrage,” said Asaduddin Owaisi.
