The city of Santona, in Cantabria
Santoña is a Spanish port city, member of the autonomous community and historical region of Cantabria, located in the north of the country. It is bounded by the municipalities of Noja to the west and Laredo to the east. It is the mouth of the Ason estuary, located at the foot of Mount Buciero and bordered by a wetland that is part of the Natural Park of María de Santoña, Victoria and Jovel.
