RECIPE
Paneer Tikka Masala
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
200 g Paneer
1/4 cup Hung Curd
2 tsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
1 tsp dried Fenugreek Leaves
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Mustard Oil
1 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Oil
1 medium Onion chopped
1 tsp Garlic
1 tsp Ginger
7 Cashew Nuts
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
Salt to taste
3 Large Tomatoes chopped
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 cup Tomato Puree
1 tsp dried Fenugreek Leaves
3 tbsp Cream
2 tbsp Oil
Method:
Mix together the hung curd, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, black pepper powder, ½ tsp garam masala powder, salt, Kashmiri red chili powder, kasuri methi (dried fenugreek Leaves), cumin powder and mustard oil.
Mix well to make a smooth, consistence paste.
Cut the paneer int 1” pieces and marinate the paneer pieces in the prepared marinade for 2 hours.
Meanwhile, in a pan, add the butter and the oil and heat together.
Add the chopped onions and saute till translucent pink.
