At the show, Viscom introduced the new IS6059 AOI system, which offers a simplified interface with improved resolution. the system is armed with 9 cameras, producing 26 percent more pixels than it's predecessor. The increased Filed of View provides around a 20 percent increase in cycle time and the computing power is improved using fibre optics.
In recent manufacturing news, Viscom have begun standardizing the range of parts across each of their different platforms, improving supply chain procurement and increasing their sustainability and carbon footprint.
