Born and raised in the NYC boroughs, Andy Statman has gone on be recognized as one of the most important mandolinists of the last 50 years. His earlier albums like Flatbush Waltz and Andy's Ramble set the tone for his sound, while he continues to experiment with more recent releases like Superstring Theory or Monroe Bus. This tune is one that any Statman fan should know.
