Every year, The Musk Ox Farm's summer interns learn about the musk ox domestication process, with valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to create a self-led project. . Beginning with the birth of new born calves in May and ending with bottle-feeding in August, interns engage with musk oxen in their critical early days in life. In addition, they observe, herd, feed, and comb the qiviut off the farm's musk ox herd.
