Llangollen in north east Wales is renowned for the surrounding hills and the River Dee. It's a quaint town a few miles from the English border with many interesting places to visit both in the town and the surrounding areas.
You can take a stroll along the Victoria Promenade, picnic in the Riverside Park or watch the river tumble down beneath the bridge. For the more energetic there is a whole range of outdoor activities.
If you just want to relax, take a train ride on the steam railway or glide along the canal on a horse-drawn boat. Llangollen is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site along eleven miles of canal from Gledrid to the Horseshoe Falls via the spectacular Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. So should YOU visit Llangollen, Wales?

We are Sara and Stephen, a UK mum and son based in a small English town near Liverpool.
