How to draw elevation contour lines manually?
A manual method of drawing contour lines. Contours are are lines joining points of equal values. The the points are showing the values of elevation, joining of these points will be called a elevation contouring. There should must a contour interval, predefined, before making contours. The contours should never cross other contour lines. Every fifth contour line is made darker or bold and is called as index contour. Contour lines are basing parameter of a topographic map. On a topo map, contour lines are shown by Brown lines. If the contour lines are too much close to each other, this shows a steeper elevation profile of the area. While if contour lines are away from each other, the area is having a gentle slope.
