Flying in G-BOIL, a Cessna 172 from LAC Flying School at Manchester Barton.
We flew south-west to Warrington then down the low-level route to Stretton where we entered Manchester’s zone (courtesy of very helpful ATC) to make a low approach and go-around at Lymm Dam.
From Lymm we routed direct back to Barton where we joined left hand (non-standard) for runway 26R (courtesy of very helpful AFISO) and carried on with Exercise 17 (the precautionary circuit).
Having completed the exercise we then flew to the Middlebrook Stadium (Reebok as was!) to give the student another practice at a standard overhead join. I was supposed to remain silent and let him get on with it but failed dismally!
