On 20–21 March 2019, General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania (MAL) held the first international Baltic Military Conference in Lithuania. The conference participants, i.e. high-ranking officers, diplomats and academics addressed the security and defence of the Baltic region and discussed how to defend and use the military experience of Western countries in the Baltic states.
